Needle clearance for housing organisations
We are currently working with many like yourselves and noticing an increase in the calls we are having now on a weekly bases requesting needle clearance and advice on needle clearance.
In 2023 needles are being left in all sorts of places such as void properties, communal areas, car parks, housing, specialist HMOs etc.
Used needles are a health risk and need to be removed asap. Needle pricks from a used needle can transfer viruses such as hepatitis and HIV.
We will
- Carry out a site visit and advise on the best action
- Send a detailed quotation and proposal
- Complete the work in a timely manner - we can react same day for public spaces.
- Be non-judgemental at all times and discrete
- Remove needles and all biohazard waste, disposing of them correctly.
- Remove general waste and dispose of it correctly (we have a full waste license)
- We will then deep clean and seal any areas that require sealing. Eg any blood on walls and ceilings.
- If required ovens and carpets can be cleaned
- If required we can also carry out maintenance tasks and redecorate
- Hand property, room, or area back safe.
